What is G4?

The G4 Foot Drop System is a wearable Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) device designed to help people with neurological foot drop walk more naturally and confidently. The G4 delivers gentle electrical stimulation to activate the muscles that lift the foot at the right time during each step, helping improve foot clearance, mobility, and walking independence.

Unlike a traditional brace that simply holds the foot in position, the G4 actively assists the muscles during walking.

G4  is Covered with VA Benefits

G4 — Helping You Walk with Confidence

Wearable Functional Electrical Stimulation technology designed to help people with foot drop lift their foot at the right time during walking—supporting a safer, more natural and confident step.

Step Forward with Confidence.

Advanced foot drop technology designed to help you walk more naturally and independently.

The G4 Foot Drop System uses Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) to activate the muscles that lift the foot during walking, helping improve foot clearance, walking confidence and everyday mobility.

Foot Drop Shouldn't Limit Where You Go

Something as natural as walking can become challenging when neurological injury or disease affects your ability to lift your foot.

Foot drop can cause the toes to drag during walking, making it more difficult to clear the ground and potentially increasing the risk of trips and falls. Some people compensate by lifting their knee higher or changing the way they walk.

The G4 is designed to actively assist the movement your body needs to take the next step.

Unlike a traditional AFO or brace that provides passive support by holding the foot in position, the G4 uses Functional Electrical Stimulation to activate the appropriate muscles during the walking cycle.

The G4 isn't simply supporting your foot. It helps activate your step.

The wearable system delivers carefully controlled electrical stimulation to help lift the foot at the appropriate time during walking. For appropriate users, this can help improve foot clearance and support a more natural walking pattern.

The result is technology focused on what matters most:

More confident steps. Greater mobility. More independence.

"The G4 Foot Drop System has been life-changing, giving me back my mobility and confidence to engage in physical activities I thought were no longer possible"
